First up Fury this was actualy written by Wrenage over on the new comminty forums but I'd post it here as fury isnt my speciality. Happy

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. The Fury Spec

* Build 1 - War Academy 3/3
http://wowtal.com/#k=mFbuBN0.a6d.warrior.RDgqC0

* Build 2 - Incite 3/3
http://wowtal.com/#k=hFsESN0.a6d.warrior.RDgqC0

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Hit and Expertise

With Hit we have 2 sets of numbers to be aware of.

* 8.0% (246 Rating)
This allows all our Specials (yellow's) to hit.

As Fury we need to gather 5.0% (154 Rating) on top of our passive 3% from Precision to reach this cap.

* 27% (830 Rating)
This allows all our normal melee (white) swings to hit.

As Fury we need to gather 24.0% (738 Rating) on top of our passive 3% from Precision to reach this cap.

With Expertise we have 1 set of numbers to be aware of;

* 22 (172 Rating)

As Fury your first priority should be hitting the Expertise cap and the Hit cap.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Enchants

* Helm
Ebon Blade rep: +50 Attack power, +20 crit rating.

* Shoulders
Son's of Hodir rep: +40 Attack power, +15 crit rating.

* Cloak
Greater Speed: +23 Haste

* Chest
Powerful Stats: +10 All Stats.

* Wrist
Greater Assault: +50 Attack power

* Gloves
Precision: +20 Hit or

Crusher: +44 Attack Power

* Legs
Icescale Leg Armor: +75 Attack power, +22 crit rating.

* Boots
Icewalker: +12 Hit, +12 Crit

* Weapons
Berserking on both.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4. Re-forging

* Under the Expertise Cap
Reforge Haste > Expertise

* Above the Expertise Cap
Reforge Expertise > Hit

* Under the Hit (27%) Cap
Reforge Haste > Hit

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5. Gems

Use Re-forging to get to the Experise cap - then gem as follows;

* Meta
Chaotic Skyflare Diamond (+21 Crit, +3% Crit damage)

* Red
Bold Cardinal Ruby (+20 Strength)

* Yellow
Inscribed Ametrine (+10 Strength, +10 Crit)

* Blue
Etched Dreadstone (+10 Strength, +10 Hit)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6. Glyphs

These are the 'must have' Glyphs in each category;

* Prime
Glyph of Raging Blow, Glyph of Slam, Glyph of Bloodthirst

* Major
Glyph of Cleaving

* Minor
Glyph of Berserker Rage

The second and third glyphs in both the Major and Minor categories are a matter of personal choice.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7. Rotation

* Single Target
Heroic Strike > Bloodthirst

Raging Blow (when it procs and Rage allows)

Execute (when target is at <20% Health takes priority use HS if Rage allows)

* Multi Target (2)
Cleave > Bloodthirst

Whirlwind (when BT, Cleave are on CD and Rage allows)

Execute (when target is at <20% Health use to 5 stacks then back to normal rotation)

* Multi Target (3 or more)
Cleave > Whirlwind

Bloodthirst / Raging Blow (when Cleave, WW are on CD and Rage allows)

Execute (when target is at <20% Health use to 5 stacks then back to normal rotation)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fury is normally said to be the easiest warrior dps spec to play with a basic /faceroll style play, and good burst damage. But with duel wield and the need to be enraged for RB to work well, I see it as need more gear dependant to get the most out of it.

Especially with +hit and +mastery gear been the major so them white hits and enrage procing abilites don't go to waste. Overall I suggest new warriors play fury as its alot dam sight easier to master then arm's. With good gear, a well rounded spec and talent at playing the class Fury is a killer spec, but not my personall preferance at this moment.

I'd like to see how single minded fury stacks up at end game 85 which might include some experimenting.

And thats it for fury, arms coming tomorrow, then if I feel like it prot aswell:P

Yeah 'single minded' apparently doesn't have the numbers that you get by using two handers!

We look at the spec and rotation for an Fury Warrior, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk.

Fury is a nice, simple rotation involving mashing 4 keys while occasionally hitting a cooldown or three. You have the option of dual wielding 1 handers (Single Minded Fury) or 2 handers (Titan's Grip). Right now, TG is stronger, but they should be balanced in the future (hopefully).

Fury is great when you are first learning an encounter and want to concentrate on boss mechanics rather than your own rotation. If the simplicity bores you, Arms is much more technical in nature.

The timer mod shown is DoTimer. Our tutorial is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3hUybN2cJw
