Boss Tacs for the entry level raid Bastion of Twilight in cata

This is the 1st entry raid i think we should kill quick then work on the heroics modes/farm, before moving on so start reading Happy

Halfus Wyrmbreaker

Strategy
Wyrmbreaker comes with a protodrake that will throw fireballs at multiple raid members throughout the fight. It is best to ignore this drake, and concentrate on the boss, as fireballs can be dodged easily or healed through.

Halfus Wyrmbreaker is also accompanied by several drakes which you can choose to free throughout the fight, which have different effects. They appear to be allies, but will be mind controlled after a few seconds of their release. In the 10 man instance, there are only two available:

The purple Netherdrake - reduces damage, but will also cancel out Wyrmbreaker's frenzy attack (which on him at all times and adds a base damage buff), which can cause a lot of damage.

The Time Warden - casts a rooting debuff on players, including the protodrake's fireballs, which will also travel much more slowly across the room.

The Slate Dragon - periodically stuns the whole raid for 15 seconds, but puts a debuff on Halfus Wyrmbreaker to periodically stun him as well. The raidwide stun is only active when the Slate Dragon is activated and alive. The debuff on Halfus Wyrmbreaker lasts throughout the remainder of the encounter.

It is recommended to have two tanks for Halfus Wyrmbreaker, as he applies a debuff on his primary target when his hits land. This debuff reduces healing by 5% and stacks up rather quickly. Halfus Wyrmbreaker is tauntable until his whirlwind phase starts at 30% health.

Halfus Wyrmbreaker has a 6-minute(?) beserk timer.

10 man:

The most recommended way to do it is to free the Time Warden as soon as the fight starts, and nuke it down whilst it is mind controlled. Healers will need to keep members alive through fireballs, as players will be unable to dodge them. Once it has died, however, this debuff will disappear, but the protodrake's fireballs will still move slower.

From then on, it is a simple tank and spank encounter until roughly 25%, when he whirlwinds constantly, switching his target between members of the raid. He is untankable at this point. Players must still dodge fireballs and also try and dodge the whirlwind whilst attacking him.

Yeah, as a guild we will be killing all three dragons, especially the third, which is manually activated!

2 Reasons, the third dragon not noly stuns Halfus during Whirlwinds saving healing etc etc, but this also increases DPS alot, the very short beserk time is relentless.

The other reason is if the gods favor us, he can actually get stunned after the enrage, which is pretty sweet.

Aliena again making awesome videos.

You can activate multiple dragons at the start to instantly remove abilities from Halfus and yes he is the first boss, he actually appears second on the boss list on wowhead.

So this boss is likely to be our first boss kill.
